My idea behind this piece was to show how important music is in my life and that music is everywhere. I feel like this piece really shows who I am and what i'm all about. Strengths in this piece are the highlights and shadows done on my hands and legs. Weaknesses in this piece are the blending on the music staffs from each shade of purple.
My idea behind this piece was to show my connection with the guitar and how I believe it is apart of me. Strengths in my piece are that it is realistic, and that it has many highlights and shadows in the hand to show form. Weaknesses in my piece were trying to match the color exactly to the photo, and the size and shape of the fingers.

My idea behind this piece was to show how music can be changed and distorted and understood in so mnay different ways. Strengths in this piece are the highlights and shadows throughout the guitar. Weaknesses are that it lacks a variety of color, and isnt completely in proportion.

My idea behind this piece was to show how guitar is such a powerful instrument and how it speaks to people,and that it stands out more than a lot of other instruments. Strengths in this piece are the blending on the guitar and the design in the background. Weaknesses are the shading of the figure holding the guitar.
I think the top one may be my favorite piece of yours this year. It does an amazing job expressing how you look without having your face shown at all. You're easily identifiable in it.
ReplyDeletei love the first piece. It looks very realistic and i love that the color scheme that is used in some of the clothing is the same scheme used in the musical notes.
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely do something music-related for your concentration. You definitely have a solid point of view and I see cohesiveness between all of these strong pieces.
ReplyDelete(Piece 1) I love this piece so much! I think you did a terrific job accurately portraying yourself, it looks so realistic. I really like the color scheme in this piece and the way you incorporated lighter colors around you to make yourself stand out.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite by far is the first piece, i love how the music notes surround you and the color is so vibrant. Its a great balance and expresses color range :) It really looks like a photograph, great job!
